Bilan Reconstruction antisismique

The different stages of reconstruction

Following the 2015 earthquake, ANUVAM committed to rebuilding houses for very poor village families.

In 2017-2018, with its technical partner CAPA (Construire et Agir Par l’Architecture), six earthquake-resistant houses using local materials
were built. With the help of CAPA-trained site manager Vincent Peña, the village’s masons and carpenters were able to apply the earthquake-resistant techniques designed by CAPA.

In the winter of 2018-2019, three other earthquake-resistant houses financed by ANUVAM were built by Nepalese craftsmen using their new skills. This contribution to technical expertise in the construction sector is a significant contribution by our association to the local economy.

The association of employees of the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations (CDC Développement solidaire) has provided significant support to ANUVAM in continuing its earthquake-resistant construction projects and promoting sustainable development.
In 2019-2020, five houses were built with the support of CDC Développement solidaire.

In the village, fourteen families benefited from the reconstruction of their homes with the help of our association.
